British Parrot Rescue & Welfare! Scotland, England & Wales!

Safehouses needed in Scotland, Northern England and Wales!

Bird Rooms Needed - In Scotland, Northern England and Wales.

Space needed for outside Aviary's, and bird rooms, for indoor Aviarys and cages.

We need, safehouses and volunteers/welfare officers in Scotland, North of England and Wales.

Our future goal is to have our own Bird Sanctuary, so some of our birds that are more suited to aviary life, can live a better and happy life living together with other birds, and not in cages.

If you think you might be in a position to help us to make this possible, then please get in touch using the Contact us page...

BPRWs main aim is to ensure that all owners are given the right information and support needed to keep their loved parrots at home with them. We do this by offering our free support, but from time to time this is not possible for one reason or another, so we are asked to rehome their bird.

When this occurs we need safehouses to offer short term love and care for any parrot that needs it. They will offer a safe and loving home untill BPRW can match the parrot to the most suitable adoptive family.

If you feel that you can help and become a Safehouse for the parrots, please get in touch either on the main phone number, or email us using the contact us page on this site.

Thank you!

Q: Do I need to pay to Safehouse?

A: No. We just ask that you become a supporter, but you can give a donation to help us if you can afford it.

Q: Do I need lots of experience?

A: We try and match the experience of the Safehouse with the needs of the parrot. We will support you all through your time as a Safehouse.

Q: Do I need a cage?

A: It would help if you have a cage, but if not we can help with this.

Q: How long will I Safehouse a bird for?

A: This depends on how soon the best match can be found for the bird and the adoptive owners. We do not rush as this is when the birds can be moved where they will not be happy. We will keep you in the loop with how the rehoming process is going.

If this sounds appealing to you, then please email us using the contact page and ask for an Application Form!
